My Policy
At Waxity SD, I'm all about exceptional service in a space that feels welcoming, safe, and relaxing. These policies protect both your time and mine, and keep every appointment running smoothly. Thank you for respecting them.
1. Appointments
Services are by appointment only, so every guest gets my full, personal attention. I recommend booking ahead to lock in your preferred date, time, and service. Running late? Let me know as soon as you can through my website, text, or email — I'll do my best to accommodate you, but your service time may need to be adjusted or rescheduled. 2. Cancellation and No-Shows
Booking requires a card on file — no deposit needed. Your card is only charged if you cancel late, don't show up, or arrive past the grace period. Cancel with less than 24 hours' notice and a 50% fee of the service price applies. No-shows without prior notice are charged the same 50%. This keeps me able to serve all my guests fairly. Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may lead to restrictions on future bookings.
3. Late Arrivals
Life happens — you get a 10-minute grace period. After 10 minutes, the appointment is marked as a no-show and the 50% fee applies. Late arrivals may mean a shortened service to fit the remaining time, so the rest of the day stays on schedule for everyone.
4. Inappropriate Behavior
I keep my studio safe and welcoming for everyone. Harassment, discrimination, or offensive language will not be tolerated — any guest engaging in it may be asked to leave immediately, and I may refuse future service. If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior, tell me so I can handle it.
5. Professional Boundaries
Everything you share with me — personal details, anything said during your appointment — stays confidential unless required by law or shared with your explicit consent.
6. Everyone's Welcome
At Waxity SD, everyone is welcome and valued. I'm committed to an inclusive space free from discrimination and harassment. If you experience or witness any of it, tell me immediately so I can act.
7. Prices
My prices are on my website and they're non-negotiable. Any changes will always be communicated in advance. I'm happy to honor promotions that meet their stated terms.
8. Payments and Gratuity
I accept credit/debit cards, Zelle, Apple Cash, and cash — no personal checks. Payment is due at the time of service; online payments process securely at booking, in-person payments at the end of your appointment. Tips aren't included in prices but are always appreciated — cash, card, or any accepted method.
9. Privacy and Security
Your privacy is everything to me. Personal and payment info submitted online is encrypted and stored securely. I will never share or sell your information to third parties.
10. Refunds
I don't offer refunds on services already performed. If you're unhappy with your service, tell me right away and I'll work with you to make it right.
11. Lost or Stolen Items
Please keep your belongings with you. I'll do my best to help find anything lost, but Waxity SD isn't responsible for lost or stolen property.
12. Cell Phones and Electronics
To keep the studio calm and relaxing, please silence your phone and skip the electronics during your service.
13. Sanitation and Hygiene
Your health and safety come first. I sanitize all equipment, linens, and treatment areas with hospital-grade disinfectants between every guest. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the studio — please wash or sanitize your hands before and after your service.
14. Photography
No photos or videos during services unless I approve it first — this protects your privacy and everyone's comfort.
